I have had Wimp/Tidal Hifi for a while now, lossless streaming is a good thing. But content - to me - is even more important. With Tidal the selection of classical music is rather limited. Actually so limited, that it is more like a service for someone who once in a while wants to listen to mainstream classical recordings.
I also use Spotify and it is amazing what they offer, especially also in the classical sector. Really obscure stuff, it is great fun even exploring loads of live recordings etc. Since I usually use Spotify for listening to "non-classical" music, where the compressed signal does not really make a difference to my ears, it is great to find new and interesting classical recordings, that I will later buy and rip to flac. With the new owners of Tidal, it does not look as if they have any great interest in classical music, so content will probably not get any better. Qobuz also has lossless streaming and is much better than Tidal with classical content. But the best of all is still Spotify, maybe there will be a lossless option in the future - that would be the one streaming service to rule them all.
