Ah, yeah, thought the background colour might be contentious..
There is a way of turning it off, albeit rather hidden:

1. Close Moose
2. Open regedit
3. Change: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Moose/Cycle
to be 'False'
4. Restart Moose

I need to sort the options dialog out, so I'll try and put it there
next time.
