I got a reply from Avy support. They attempted to duplicate the error and could not. I tried again today to download the player apps and it went fine. Playback was as easy as any other SB player. Sound quality is fair. Loud enough for a single room. Bass response is pretty low though. This unit can certainly serve as a player for casual listening and it has a cheap but adequate Android tablet to boot. To be fair, it can probably play a lot more than SB such as the BandCamp app, etc. I hope I can get TuneIn to work.
