I've actually found a much better solution to playing youtube video. In all my use cases anyhow.
I installed the Shairtunes2 plugin. On my wife's iphone, I installed nothing she can just use airplay to play her youtube content directly from her phones youtube app. On a mac you can just output your audio through airplay On windows PC you can just install airplay software. On *nix there is also airplay software. Everyone how comes to my house always says neat how do I play the songs on my phone on your speakers. Or "have you heard this song" and they pull it up on youtube and want to play it through my speakers. Those people usually have not appreciation for how technology works. I find that most people like that usually have an iphone in their pocket. So this serves me very well. The usability for my wife... She would never use the youtube plugin, but using airplay in youtube is so easy for her. She didn't even have to ask me how to play youtube content in a zone.
