I actually own a Yamaha RX-V679, but can't find out how to use MusicCast. I installed the app, but can't get past the "press connect" stage. I can hold the connect button on my Yamaha as long as I like, it doesn't do anything. Maybe I need newer firmware, but currently can't find any updates.
What I'm wondering about: How many streaming services are onboard? Qobuz probably isn't. And then I don't see an option to connect my active speakers or my passives for that matter, without spending huge sums on full-size amps.
