I am afraid I agree. I can get my Onkyo CRN755 to work with Phillipe's plugin but not like an SB device or a Pi with picoreplayer. The DLNA/uPnP protocol is rubbish. Some DLNA devices seem to be OK others have varying degrees of difficulty. Turning to the original question. I have a Pi with Hifiberry DAC+. It compares favourably with the analogue out from a SB Classic. It's not better but it is not worse. I can't comment about a Pi with Digi+ as I don't yet own one. *Vortexbox LMS 7.8 music on QNAP TS419p via NFS* iThingys/iPeng/Tablets *Living Room* - SB3 -> Onkyo TS606 - > Celestion Ditton F20s - Zone 2 -> Sony TA FE 320 -> Sennheiser RS 130 & B&W P7 *Office* - RPi -> Sony TA FE320 -> Celestion F10s / SB3 -> Onkyo CRN 755 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes *Dining Room* -> SB Boom *Kitchen* -> UE Radio (upgraded to SB Radio) *Bedroom (Bedside)* - SB Touch -> Topping TP21 -> AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV)* - Amazon Fire TV (SB Player) -> Topping TP20 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes ------------------------------------------------------------------------ d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104449 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
