I just tried rescanning for new music after doing a wipe/scan and after clearing all things slim from the computer and re-installing ss, the rescan works now. Something must have happened to a file when upgrading to 6.2.1 nightly. For reference I deleted: slimserver.prefpane slimdevices folder slimserver folder in caches com.slimdevices.slim.plist
