I have found a workaround way to do this using http://www.streamwhatyouhear.com/ and then tuning LMS into the resulting stream. Basically this software turns the sound card output of your PC into either an mp3 or WAV/PCM stream.
Windows only. I think it should be possible to run it on the same Windows PC as LMS as it uses entirely different port range. Note - on install it crashed on my W10 box but after a restart it was fine.
