Times are changing, People decided freely what the spend their time with - or (hopefully not) gets ill or die. @HYbride: No you just didnt understand whats behind the -V optional parameter. If you move the volume level onto your player (somewhere) is gets louder or quieter. If you use the -v parameter and the dac is set to the right dac you see the mixer gets up or down. Its always the same with these audiophoolish people - best best best putting a 4 times expensive dac to a "DIY" Device like the RPi and want bitperfect nonsense out of it but didnt understand the minimal technics behind all that stuff. But in some case thats ok - otherwise no "best best best" Snakeoilseller woulndt sell their stuff to these Audiop. People.
