Can anyone explain why it is behaving in this way ? Is there an earlier version available to see if that still works ?
When a software, which has worked flawlessly for months/years, starts to mis-behave, then it's most likely not the software's problem, but some change in its environment. As has been pointed out previously libspotify, which is being used by Triode's plugin, has been deprecated by Spotify a while ago. They could have changed something in the background, breaking libspotify. Going back to an older version of the plugin will not solve this.
I can access the official Spotify plugin but just don't find it as useful as Triode's.
What are you missing? Did you even try the new implementation we released a few weeks back?
