If there's no way to set the screen saver to turn off the screen without sleeping/suspending the surface then there's no way I know. However, if the screen saver will NOT even start when squeezeplay is running, you can set the system environment variable SDL_VIDEO_ALLOW_SCREENSAVER=1 http://superuser.com/questions/949560/how-do-i-set-system-environment-variables-in-windows-10 You need to quit squeezeplay and restart it after setting the env var.
