This may be worth checking: I have a Logitech Harmony Hub that couldn't be seen by it's own app when I changed phones to one running Android 6.01/Marshmallow. The phone was connected to 5GHz & the Hub to 2.4GHz. Switched the phone to 2.4GHz & it saw the Hub straight away & paired with it. Switched the phone back to 5GHz & all was still good. Obviously all wireless SBs will be on 2.4GHz as that's all they support, so it may be worth making sure your control device is also on 2.4GHz when setting up an app.
BT in the UK have an odd notion of sharing the same SSID between 2.4GHz & 5GHz by default on their routers. So if you have one of those it would be worth splitting the channels to separate SSIDs. Otherwise you don't know which band you're connecting a 5GHz capable device to. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ rbz5416's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12089 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=69352 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
