But if nothing changed on the server side I need to look into my devices. Both tablets and the phone don't like slimdevices any more.
I did recently update the tapatalk plugin (it comes with its own share of security issues, needs regular updates, too). It's very well possible that this recent update did change some of its behaviour as well.
