Thanks everyone for the tips. It is a bit odd, not much of a pattern as to when it fails. This morning it failed half way through a track. After it restarted, I played the track again, and it failed again, similar position through the song, but not the same. I played it again, and it played for about an hour with no problems.
I think I have replaced the PSU already, many years ago. Is it the same spec as a SB2, I can't remember. I'll try wiggling the power cable, and replace the PSU if I can find a similar unit.
