I've noticed looking at the www.publicradiofan.com website that a growing number of stations are adding HLS streams. Sometimes these are higher quality than the standard MP3 or AAC versions. So, with that in mind are there any standalone devices like the Squeezebox Touch that play HLS/MPEG-DASH or similar streams natively? I know that the SBT can play the BBC streams using LMS on a Raspberry Pi but it's an extra layer of complexity and it would be simpler and much more convenient to have an HLS-capable device out-of-the-box. AFAIK there's no easy way (or even any way) to play non-BBC HLS streams on the SBT.
Anything out there yet?
