Ok the log settings had been reset after I'd changed the db mem config
(requiring a restart) as I'd missed the "Save logging settings for use
at next application restart" option.
Then I found that in Media Folders settings that Pictures and Video were
ticked so I disabled those.
Now the scan does not pause after the db error, and completes in around
2h 20min. :-)
Before it was taking 7h 25min.
I'll try it again soon, this time enabling Pictures & Video again.
