Actually, I've been thinking about having a go as this does sound fairly trivial, but I've no experience of writing a plugin, and limited experience of perl, so it might take some time! I raised an enhancement request yesterday, and it's been assigned to 6.5 - does this mean slimdevices staff have already agreed to implement it as core functionality, or should I still think about starting the plugin development?
