Are the speakers powered by the SqueezeBox? or are they self powered using AC power. If there is any connection from the wall jack to the speakers and also from the walljack to the SqueezeBox to the speakers, then there is a potential for a ground loop. Or wall to amp to speakers and also wall to SB to speakers.
