I think I'd be looking for a set of small powered/active speaker (that
is, speakers with a built-in amplifier).
Depending on the dampness levels and ventilation in the room, it might
make sense to look for speakers are either waterproof or at least built
for damp environments.
There is a product category generally called "outdoor speakers" that are
designed to be installed on decks, patios and gardens. The catch here
is that these are mostly unpowered designs.
If you don't find an active outdoor speaker to your liking, also
consider using a portable or home "Bluetooth" speaker. Although
products in this category usually carry the "Bluetooth" moniker, most
all of them have a standard 3.5mm stereo aux input.
There are an enormous variety of models available, and many of them are
designed to be waterproof. As a bonus, they usually have rechargeable
on-board batteries, giving you a dual-use option.
