Have you tried Stuart Hickinbottoms Lazy Music Search plugin? To find the artist "Eagles", press the search button on the remote > Artists > enter "3245" and up pops Eagles. The Byrds would be "2973", ABBA "2222", etc.. The more letters (number buttons) you press the better the search results.
