Well, interesting turn of events. After a year and a half of multi-room
music bliss, my sb's just started locking up. I suspect an Eero firmware
update from a few nights ago. The server log indicates LMS would lose
connectivity an hour or so into playing a stream, everything locks up,
and the Linksys router goes unresponsive. It recovers on its own after
10-15 minutes.

Note that my main Eero network doesn't actually lose connectivity, only
the Linksys (which routes through Eero), and by extension LMS and the
sb's.

This isn't something I've seen in my 14+ years with sb's, actually
killing a router. My guess is something in that Eero firmware update is
terminating the Linksys DHCP lease and then renewing it.

Anyway, Eero tells me that they've long ago fixed any issues with
devices like Squeezeboxes and Sonos speakers, so I pulled out the
Linksys altogether last night, and guess what? Squeezebox love!

At least for 24 hours. We'll see if it all stays happy after 2-3 days,
which is when I'd start to see issues when I first got Eero (and what
drove me to the hack Linksys approach).

Will report back if it goes bad.
