FWIW, I am using a Kinter MA-170 for my desktop ... says 2 x 18w ... ( $10.00 from 'parts express' (https://www.parts-express.com/kinter-ma-170-2-channel-mini-amplifier-bass-treble-rca-in-2-x-18w--310-372) ! ) enough juice for the desktop ..
