I am using the Tidal free trial for HiFi subscription. I can't seem to p[lay any files in FLAC, when I check the file type playing it is always mp3 256kbps. I have gone into the tidal settings both via a browser and also Ipeng and clicked on FLAC but this has now effect. I have rebooted the Touch to see if that would help it change, it hasn't. I am using LMS 7.6.1 and have not updated as I am using an old Vortexbox for my Source (I am not technically minded so not able to update this to be able to update LMS). I am using the Tidal app v1.2. As i haven't been able to update LMS I am no longer able to use Spotify, had been using it on a Chromecast but that meant changing sources on the hifi and not being able to add music and play seemlessly, Tidal means I can now do this. If I can't get FLAC on the Touch then i will downgrade to Premium but as it's currently free would like to see how much difference there is. Any help gratefully received.
