Perhaps its already past through the forum, then please point me in the right direction :)
Since a short time the owner of a very nice transporter and after replacing a bit dodgy display power supply repair i'm now really using it. Only thing thats missing is a nice display with album art and/or artist info so I was wondering if there would be a solution to use (for example) a raspberry pi with 7" display to solely displaying this information. I am aware of this thread https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?74270-Remote-quot-NowPlaying-quot-Display but that would require to connect a 7" HDMI screen to the pi and I guess that's more expensive as the normal 7" display. Not to mention the visible hdmi cable. All suggestions are welcome.
