If you can replace the capacitors, you will revive your SB3s. That has been my experience
I had a member on this forum, recover two of my SB3s (bought direct from Slim Designs in 2006) that were constantly re-booting. He replaced the Caps on both and they immediately worked perfectly. The deal was, he got to keep one, and I got the repaired one back. I already had a second one, I bought off E-Bay, which still works, too. SO I had two, functioning SB3s again, for the living room, and bedroom. Later, this same forum member, got a bulk buy of 5 or 6 non-functioning SB3s, and generously offered me one, after replacing the Caps, for his cost. I am a very happy camper. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ chamonix's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=64929 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110689 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
