If you can replace the capacitors, you will revive your SB3s. That has
been my experience

I had a member on this forum, recover two of my SB3s (bought direct from
Slim Designs in 2006) that were constantly re-booting.   He replaced the
Caps on both and they immediately worked perfectly.
The deal was, he got to keep one, and I got the repaired one back. I
already had a second one, I bought off E-Bay, which still works, too. SO
I had two, functioning  SB3s again, for the living room, and bedroom.

Later, this same forum member, got a bulk buy of 5 or 6 non-functioning
SB3s, and generously offered me one, after replacing the Caps, for his
cost.

I am a very happy camper.
