I don't know what happened during the upgrade, but i wiped out LMS and taskmgr forced end task to spotty.exe to close it. Then I reinstalled and then installed spotty. the plugin came in just fine. My guess is a reboot would have solved my problem... (but who reboots ever!?) To give more info on the spotty.exe errors, I noticed on reinstall and reconfiguring the spotty that when i tried setting up with the wrong password, the minute I clicked save on the wrong password, the similar spotty error box came up. When i finally submitted the right password it didn't happen. This might be specific to my machine since I have .net debugging tools installed. Maybe not. No idea.
