Strange. I could understand perhaps the Bridge having a problem as it needs a very specific audio format but SLX is quite "normal" and support many formats. Do you get a "couldn't create command line for mp4 playback" when trying to play to these players ? If yes - then there is something else preventing a transcoding command being created if no - then problem is audio is being sent to player but player cannot play the transcoded audio stream Either way, to understand what is being Enable logging player.source to INFO and get log for trying to play a podcast to SLX. The important lines in the log are the one from Slim::Player::TranscodingHelper - the output of this log is not intuitive - failed transcoding attempts are often shown *after* a successful one - and successful one will be used. So any snippets from server.log should be complete from start of test to end of test and not be edited. > It says it's not compatible.
