+1 to definitely not using phono

As it’s only one channel you need to swap the speakers around first.
That will tell you whether it’s the speakers. If you get the same thing
but out of the other speaker then it’s not the speakers.

Assuming it’s not plug then something else with line level output into
the amp inputs. That will tell you whether it’s the amp.

Assuming it’s neither of the above then swap the left and right channels
on the Squeezebox. This will confirm whether one of the channels on the
Squeezebox is failing.
