Id like the same thing, just a set of buttons with a volume knob. Perfect companion for a rpi hidden somewhere out of sight. I believe we could use some home integration devices for that. Ill have to investigate a little more on that topic.
I wonder if some manufacturers could be willing to add support for squeezelite.
