I had this problem when I tried to use two WAPs in Bridging Mode; not only with the SBs but also with laptops - they would continually be connecting and disconnecting between them and losing signal strength.
I reconfigured it as two separate WAPs with separate SSIDs and separate Channels - now it all works fine. The SBs connect satisfactorily to the nearest WAP, and the laptops will (usually) connect to the strongest signal as you move throughout the house - sometimes they need a nudge. -- Neil "WladiSGE" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Hi first of all my situation: > > I have a wireless netgear wgr 614 router, and two wireless access > points (both netgear 602) one in my room (where also the router and the > squeezebox3 stands) and one in the room below. access points are working > in the bridging mode. channel router:11 channel access points: 6. > > So Squeezebox connects but the signal strength is only between 5 and > 20%.
