Just FYI, I had a DSM blow up my LMS last night. So I just got things working with docker instead:
https://hub.docker.com/r/justifiably/logitechmediaserver Took some doing to figure out why audio wasn't working, how to setup the ports etc. The key was when I noticed that the PiCorePlayers were on some odd "internal" docker ip subnet. So then I figured out to use this setting in Docker for this container: Under Advanced Settings->Network for the docker image, click on "use the same network as the docker host". This also has the benefit of using all the proper expected LMS ports. NOTE: you MUST set the network up when you create the docker container, you can't edit that after the fact. Anyway, now I'm FINALLY on the last LMS. Synology appears to have given up with LMS about 2 years ago.
