It has to do with streaming from LMS to an Alexa Echo endpoint. Right now I create that player as something subsequently addressable via JSON by POSTing to an external https LMS server address with '/stream.mp3?player=Alexa' appended. It works, but there would be less latency if I could create it via JSON and the API and not need to go 'external'.
