It's also not clear whether the same set of FLAC files playing on the same group of players used to work before either of these changes. Be systematic about the diagnosis. Go back to how things were before, and introduce one change at a time. Take the guesswork out of it. (FWIW, if you want a dedicated LMS server, Windows 10 is the last platform I'd pick)
