While you wait ... this might work ....
Create a new Group player called "Daddy's Music" and also lay via it. Associate it with the player that you are at ... and start listening. Then when you are told to move simply pause the group player and change its membership to wherever you are being exiled to. The kids' playlist can then be moved to their new destination. You could also make a Group player called "Kid's Music" and do the same there.
