In LMS there is some special handling around "mute" rather than "pause" - it has been discussed here recently and on Github https://github.com/Logitech/slimserver/discussions/558
I don't think that Pause plays with the volume though - at least not deliberately. Is your issue readily repeatable? What do you use to control your LMS? Could it be an interaction with a phone-based controller that is doing it?
