As far as I understand, complete lack of sound on this family of players can often be fixed by reprogramming the Xilinx device. On players with infrared remotes, initiating this process is simply a matter of pressing the right button on the remote while connecting the power, but I have no idea how to do this on a receiver. Maybe someone else can step in and explain how it's done?
