All my tracks have an Artist tag.
I don't use the Album Artist tag, all completely blank. I don't use the Compilation tag, not "1" or "0", all completely blank. In LMS any album that doesn't have all the tracks with the same Artist tag is classed as a compilation. That's fine by me, it doesn't bother me one jot. I don't browse by compilation. I changed "Various "Artists" to "(compilation)" at LMS > Settings > My Music tab > (below) This is what I see when I browse to a compilation Album at > Home > New Music > Album xxx.
