I got an email from them that they will upgrade my old mp3 subscription to the losless subscription for the same price (as a "Thank you" for being a loyal customer).
My guess is that this is a reaction to the acquisition of Primephonics by Apple. Because now Apple will introduce a new "Apple Music" app specifically targeted to classical music (with better search functions, better metadata etc.).
