WPA uses TKIP, but some vendors supported the optional AES for WPA. 
WPA2 requires AES.  So, its TKIP for WPA in SB2, and AES in WPA2.

By the way, there's an interesting article on Tom's Hardware that might
be useful to some of the folks here, esp. those having trouble with
