Correct. Unless "local announcements" are possible.
What are local announcements?
Spotty tries do broadcast its existence in your network. Spotify clients would see them if in the same network. But sometimes this broadcast doesn't work (can be another piece of software conflicting). If that doesn't work, then you'd only see players connected to your account.
