I have the exact same setup at home - I now have 1 SB1 and 2 SB3s, all
working in harmony. I do have 802.11g WiFi, though.

Subject: Re: [slim] Thumbs up for Squeezebox 3!

I've got three Squeezebox 1s at home and so i'm also
still using a Wireless B router. Would like to
upgrade with 2 new SB3 and then use a single SB1.
Anyone mixing and matching at home? Has that created
any issues for anyone? Would there be significant
disavantages if I didnt also upgrade to Wireless G
router?

Thanks.

Nathan
