Just an info point.
I had the SB+ recapped (hear-audio.co.uk)and now it sounds as good as new. I have performed listening tests with my Naim NDX over a period of months and although I can detect a difference in sound it's minor and both sound fantastic. Major plus of the SB+: It's directly controllable by LMS, unlike the Naim NDX which depends upon a less-than-perfect UPnP setup and which considerably les control. Major negative of SB+: Does not support 24b/96khz. I'm in a real dilemma about which I'll sell. What I'd really like is the Naim type SB+ treatment of the Touch (inc. larger touch screen if possible!). I'd be handy to be able to talk to the man behind the SB+, Patrick Dixon... but I've failed to contact him. If you read this Patrick... simon at barcombe.org Take care of your tongue. It is in a wet place and can easily slip. Lounge: Naim NDX with Touch as controller, Naim NAP 180, NAC 82, NAPSC, HiCap, Shahinian Arc speakers Kitchen/outside: Chromecast, Azatom iBigBoy 2 (500W) And tons of other stuff... all run from LMS and controlled via Material Skin on any nearby device and a Touch. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ModelCitizen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=446 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114221 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
