I have used a Chromebook for years and have thought about that from time to time. I think you would have to switch the Chromebook in Linux mode and install the Linux LMS. That will be more complicated than a Windows install. Now the big question: once LMS is running in the background can you switch back to ChromeOS mode and carry on. I don't know! Perhaps someone else can answer the question for both of us. If you want a new platform for LMS you can mess with a Raspberry Pi and PiCorePlayer. If you want an out of the box, plug and play option you could take the PolyVection route https://polyvection.com/en/ Look at the Core32 "Music Gateway" which is a box with LMS pre-installed. £175, but hardware is hard to get at the moment. In Nicosia: Delete Quad 77 and Neutron 4 and insert Quad 405-2 and MB Quart 980s ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Labarum's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19963 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115736
