Life's too short. I've sorted most of the nonsense out. I have all my
albums in the top level directory with Christmas carols in a child
folder called !Christmas so it indexes to the top. All I want to do is
make sure that all those albums are tagged Genre: Christmas so LMS
displays them correctly, and at Christmas I can see them all together.

I have no intention of chasing my tail. It is a minor irritation that
Bach's works don't collect together because some are ascribed to Bach
and some to J S Bach. I have a couple albums by CPE Bach, but at least
they are together. Byrd's 3, 4 and 5 part Masses are not together
because one is by William Byrd, so is the last in my collection.

NO. I will not be wasting hours; and I will probably not buy another CD
in my remaining years. There is far too much good stuff to be listened
to free on internet radio - and there are subscription services.
