BPA had it almost correct. Thanks for the lead.
I found that Audacy has purchased streaming rights from WideOrbit Digital Audio Streaming. I also learned that the new URLs for the several stations I listen to are as follows: http://live.wostreaming.net/direct/audacy-knxammp3-imc http://live.wostreaming.net/direct/audacy-kfrchd2mp3-imc http://live.wostreaming.net/direct/audacy-kcbsammp3-imc http://live.wostreaming.net/direct/audacy-koolhd3mp3-imc It appears that the actual station call letters are combined with a verbal branding phrase that you would hear during a broadcast and/or some branding words or phrases you could see on the Audacy web site for the station. For example, Kools brand saying is now "KOOL HD3" -- this distinguishes it from the other KOOL iterations. Same with KFRC-HD2. In the case of KNX, for example, for decades it was an AM station branded with the phrase, "KNX AM 1070". (Now, it is also FM). So, if you have a station you want to use as a favorite, youll have to play around a little with the letters that follow the station call letters to get your URL. If you have listened to the station for a long time, you might have it in your memory from hearing it so often. Or, not!! Interesting that they are not https. And look a little odd. They do work fine and even on the old tech SoundBridge R-1000 radio which can only use URLs to play the internet radio without using SlimServer. phil phb (3 Booms, 2 SB3, 1 Rec'vr, 2 Controllers, 2xTouch, 2 Radios (1UE), iPeng &UE: itouch & iPad, Squeezepad, 2 SoundBridge R1000s, NEW pCP Server + pCP Player) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pbroughton's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=30993 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116933
