I personally run Unraid
it can run both LMS and Plex as dockers the main reason I like it is that you can use any combination of discs (a true NAS requires them all to be the same size) additionally the way it stores the files they are not striped across multiple disks, therefore when accessing a file on one disk you don't have the entire array spinning.
