The gotcha for me with that udev rule was that the rule didn't work after a restart unless the usb was removed and reinserted. That is why I needed to add the two uhubctl commands to user commands at start up. A lot of the thread on GitHub is taken up with me spending a lot of time thinking the udev rule wasn't working until I finally realised what was going on. On Raspbian the udev rule works without any messing around at start up so I thought pCP would behave in the same way.
