Hi Ralph, could you give me a had to ensure I manage to get my setup work the way it is described 'here' (https://github.com/ralph-irving/squeezelite/issues/114)? If I understood 'this post' (https://github.com/ralph-irving/squeezelite/issues/114) correctly, by having usb-power extension loaded upon start, a udev rule should have to have been created during system start, right? That is at least what I understood from this statement Code: -------------------- Your picoreplayer will backup the current configuation and reboot. After the reboot you should have the new udev rule. -------------------- I would be very thankful if you provided some guidance to making my system go into standby when pressing the on/off button on LMS. Making my DAC go into standby is important, but _it_is_way_way_more_important_to_solve_my_biggest_issue_: every so often (starting a few hours or minutes of not using LMS + pCP) Squeezelite is not able to produce any sound through the speakers, unless I manually restart squeezelite every time I want to listen to some music. Rebooting pCP is not that convenient when you are not in front of a computer, and it is a mood killer. I remember that at some point @Man in a van suggested the standby issues that I experience may, or may not be connected with what is really making my system behave that way, but the reality is that this is the one single missing to have a great system in place. I'm surprised it is only me who is reporting this kind of problems, but it really is a bummer. What is more interesting is that this issue happens with a Topping E50 or a Topping D90, but also with the built-in DAC in my integrated amplifier! I've seen people here in this forum who are very happy with their Raspberry Pi 3B+ so that can't be the problem either. This is desperate cry for help!!! :( ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kitus's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=73121 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=117179 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
