And I think I was the last customer. I didn't think I'd be able to make it at all, but the snow cleared up my afternoon meetings and I got there about 2 minutes before 4pm. I also had a great time and it was nice to meet someone from Slimdevices after using their hardware for so long. I now have 6 squeezeboxes (temporarily, one is going to a friend), enough to have one for every stereo in the house. Previously I had 4 and kept moving one between my kitchen at home and my office at work. For those wondering about location, I think that the open house at a glasses store (or rather, not in the middle of a mall) worked well. It gave return customers a chance to meet with the team, learn a few new things about the product, and share feedback. I'm glad that Slimdevices recognizes the usefulness of face to face meeting with existing customers and encouraged us to show up by running a limited deal like this.
