Hi Hugh The output should be strong enough to do that. There is an internal resistance of about 50R (from the analog switch HC4066) but that should not impose a problem. I also do not see a problem having the output turned on all the time while SB is on.
But right now (as of current firmware revision 28) there is no way to turn on the output permanently. A change in firmware is needed to achieve that.
